What Makes Us Unique

The Gipson Center and the B.S. in Healthcare Administration degree combine to be the only program of its kind in the region. 

The Gipson Center supports a vision for MSSU to be a regional leader and a nationally recognized University accredited in healthcare business and administration.

Graduates with degrees in Healthcare Administration are in high demand and strong job growth in this profession is projected.

The Gipson Center Director, Melinda Brown is an experienced healthcare business professional and leader with over 13 years in healthcare business management.

Located in the León Health Sciences Center on the MSSU campus, the Gipson Center serves as the home of MSSU’s Healthcare Administration program. With dedicated classrooms, administrative offices, faculty offices, and conference rooms, the Gipson Center is designed to create a positive learning environment for our students, and promote interaction between faculty, staff, and students.

The Gipson Center supports the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration degree with funding for scholarships, research, community engagement, and professional development of faculty and staff.

MSSU’s Gipson Center and its B.S. in Healthcare Administration degree are both unique and innovative. Together, they create an outstanding program to prepare students for successful careers in Healthcare Business and Administration.
