The Gipson Center leadership are experienced healthcare business professionals and leaders. Dr. Richard Schooler, Executive Director, has over 30 years of experience in healthcare as a provider, executive, and educator. Melinda Brown, Director, has over 13 years of experience in healthcare business management.
Located in the León Health Sciences Center on the MSSU campus, the Gipson Center serves as the home of MSSU’s Healthcare Administration program. With dedicated classrooms, administrative offices, faculty offices, and conference rooms, the Gipson Center is designed to create a positive learning environment for our students, and promote interaction between faculty, staff, and students.
The Gipson Center supports the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration degree with funding for scholarships, research, community engagement, and professional development of faculty and staff.
